I've been here for a week and I've already banged my head on 17 doors

Hey, hi, hello, and こんにちは。

Well, I've been in Japan now for just under a week. I can't help but notice the plethora of brown eyes tracking my every move as I move about this place.

I'm all moved into my apartment with a couple other guys. We've now partied three nights of four. 75% is only a C, though. I feel as though we could do better. Last night I got my ass whooped by a girl, as did my roommate Ben. Don't worry though, we abandoned her by a feres farres ferris fairis faris feiris Ferres...I don't know how to spell it, so I'll just do it phonetically. We abandoned her by a fair-us wheel in downtown Nagasaki.

Yesterday I met a Novascotian  Nova Scotian wearing a kilt. He fervently invited myself and my group to join he and a multitude of other kilt-sporting foreigners at a nearby brew-fest. We did not join him as he was just a little too much. I will say this, however; he had a wonderful mustache.

I've begun to attempt to grow a beard. By this, I mean that I've grown too lazy to shave.

I have a cell phone here. As I wish to become one with that Japanese people, and assimilate to their culture, I've begun to "bling" said cell phone. My first piece of bling being a pink plastic cat toy with a a stick protruding from its rear. I believe it is supposed to resemble a kitty shaped sucker, but I have come to affectionately call it shiri neko. This translates, literally, to butt cat.

Since I've begun counting, I have hit my head on the lentils of various doors 17 times. 12 of these were in my present abode on my way to the toire, or "pisser" for those of you who do not sprechen zie Japanese.

That is all for now. I love (most of) you all. I'll post up again soon.

_Andrew
